DIY Anti-Inflammatory Cubes

I am a firm believer that healing involves the mind, body AND soul. You truly cannot be healed (in my opinion) just by hitting one aspect, but it takes all 3 to really get your body to function appropriately. So, let's get to it.

Ingredients: - 2 lemons (peeled) - 2 oranges (peeled) - 9-10oz turmeric (washed) OR you can use powdered (250g) - 9-10oz ginger (washed) OR you can use powdered (250g) - pinch of black pepper (activates the turmeric) Instructions: 1. combine everything into a juicer & juice. (no juicer? see notes) 2. add pepper to juice. 3. pour juice into ice cubes & freeze overnight. To Use: - grab cube, place in hot water & drink as a tea. NOTES: 1. if you do not have a juicer, a blender will work. You'll need to put everything into the blender all at once. For juice shots: strain pulp from juice - store in fridge in glass jars. For tea: add everything to the ice cube tray & continue as above. 2. what to do with pulp from juicer? Reuse in food. From veggie burgers to meatloaf or lasagna. Food for farm. Scrapes can also go to chickens, pigs, etc. Of course, if you're not sure, please check with vet OR do your own research.
