Strawberries are blooming in gardens, all in the stores...so I thought it would be appropriate to do a strawberry healthy goodie. But Anna, strawberries are on the 'dirty' list. First, I grow mine. But, if you do not grow your own....you can wash them with vinegar & baking soda and allow them to soak. Towards the end, I always use a little himalayan salt too (last 5min).
Another option is to wash them with a high alkaline water which will also remove outside pesticides. *Let me know if you would like me to do a blog post on how to wash fruit appropriately!! Moving on though... Ingredients needed: - 16 strawberries + some extra strawberries if you want to top your dessert - 1/2 tapioca pearls - 3 Tbsp condensed milk - 3 Tbsp coconut cream
To make: - Blend all together (except tapioca) to make a puree. - Cook tapioca until translucent - Mix puree & cooked tapioca together DONE! *optional -> you can layer cream b/w tapioca puree in a container and then top with freshly cut strawberries. ENJOY!
