The Compassionate Seal — Warm a pea-sized amount between your fingertips until it turns into a silken resin. Press—do not rub—the balm into your ink. Hold your hand over the site for five seconds, allowing your body heat to "melt" the manuka and cupuacu into the skin. As you hold, take one long, slow exhale. This focused, weighted contact (proprioception) tells your brain that the "breach" is handled and the art is now part of your safe, physical core.
